Invoicing FAQs

Do I have to invoice before approving a booking?

No. You can approve a booking at your discretion. 

For hirers you know, you might invoice after the event, or at the end of the month or quarter. 

For newer customers, you may wish to invoice and confirm payment before you approve a booking. 

Can I invoice after an event has taken place? 

Yes. To find a past booking, click on the magnifying glass at the top and search for a keyword (such as Pilates). The bookings will come up in the search result. 

Choose the booking you want to invoice or tick the boxes to select multiple bookings. 

Do I have to set up an online payment system?

It's entirely optional! You can specify on the invoice footer how  your venue accepts payment. 

If you accept BACS, you can write the bank details. You might also want to mention if you accept cash or cheques.

Can I send one invoice for multiple bookings? 

Yes. Use the tick boxes and then scroll down and click on the invoice button. The bookings will be listed on the invoice. 

Can I export the invoicing data to accounting software? 

Yes. Choose the CSV Download option. CSV is a standard format for data which can be imported into commercial accounting packages or Excel.
