If you'd like to display our calendar in your website, you can easily do so.
Take a look at the options below.
If you don't have a website, don't worry! Your subscription comes with a set of information pages about your venue.
Google will show these pages (and the booking calendar) in their search results once you go live.
If you don't want to show the calendar and info pages (and just use our system privately), that's fine too!
You might find the simplest solution is the best: just have a button on your website that links to your public calendar at Hall Booking Online.
How to Display the Calendar in Another Website
Full Details: Go to Settings >> Embedded Calendar.
Method One : iFrame

It works on Wordpress, Wix, Squarespace and other websites.
You don't need any complicated HTML skills. You just need to copy and paste a line into your existing site.
We recommend embedding the calendar so that it has the full width of your page - not just one column.
To get the code, go to Settings >> Embedded Calendar.
Copy and paste the calendar(s) you need. You have the choice of embedding one calendar or a separate calendar for each room.
If necessary, you can adjust the height of your calendar further by changing the height from a percentage to '1500px' (or something similar).
Make sure you're using the specific URL listed on the settings page. Embedding other Hall Booking Online pages isn't permitted.
Method Two: Google Calendar (ICS)

You can subscribe to your venue's calendar in Google Calendar or Apple Calendar using the URL below.
This will automatically sync your bookings to your personal calendar, making it easier to see upcoming events at a glance. You might like to use this with Wordpress calendar plugins.
The first sync will happen very quickly. After that, Google typically updates the calendar about once a day. That's decided by Google rather than us!
This is a read-only calendar and while it shows all bookings with the times and rooms, it won't show the names or contact details of your hirers.
You can add a ‘click here to book’ button by the calendar, if you'd like to let the general public make booking requests. That will take them to our system to make the booking.
If your venue has a heating system that can use an ICS feed to know when to turn off and on, you can use this calendar feed.
To get your ICS feed, go to Settings >> Embedded Calendar.
We're rolling this out to venues. If you can't see the option on your settings page, get in touch with us, and we'll add your venue to the updated system.
Method Three: Bespoke through our API
Do you have a budding developer who'd like to make their own integration for a website? That can be done through our API.
The API feed will return all the public booking data between two dates.
You can use this for heating systems, bespoke calendars, 'what’s on' pages and more.
Get in touch with us if you'd like to set this up for your venue.
We have APIs available which can produce other data (such as an email address to send a reminder or door code).
Please get in touch with us if you'd like to know more.
