About Hambledon Village Hall (Surrey)

 

Built in 1903, the Hambledon Village Hall is run by a committee of volunteers, as a registered charity (305057).

The hall has been lovingly maintained in a traditional style and used regularly for meetings, classes and private functions. 

Our facilities include:

  • Kitchen with electric oven, 4-zone electric hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, food warming trolley (on request), kettles and hot water urn.
  • Crockery and cutlery to serve 90 people
  • Wine glasses, tumblers and flutes (please contact us for specific quantities)
  • Disabled access throughout
  • Male and Female toilets
  • Projector, screen and amplification for all types of presentation (for use with your own device, by prior arrangement only)
  • WiFi - password is displayed on the hall noticeboard.

The hall measures 18.5m x 5.4 m and has the following capacity:

  • 90 seated at tables
  • 100 mixed occupancy tables and dancing
  • 94 closely-seated audience

Tables and chairs for use in the hall are supplied at no extra charge. Tables and chairs for outside use can be hired, please contact the Bookings Team for pricing.

The adjacent car park has space for approximately 10 cars and careful parking on the roadside is also possible.

The hall is licensed to be used:

  • Monday to Saturday between 9am and 11.59pm
  • Sunday between 9am and 11.00pm
