The Yew Tree Hall

Once the malting barn for the Jennings brewery, the Yew Tree Hall is now the community centre for the village of Lorton.

With space for 100 and a premises and alcohol licence the hall makes a great venue for parties, dances, coffee mornings and a regular home for club, society and music events.

Hall facilities include 

• Seating for 100 either at tables or in rows
• Audio equipment including a hearing loop
• A projector screen
• A well equipped kitchen
• An extensive main hall
• A secondary smaller reception room

As an adapted building the facilities sit within a traditional barn-like building dating from 1828 which oozes charm.  It sits adjacent to the spectacular Boonbeck bridge and overlooks Wordsworth's 1000 year old yew tree from which it takes its name.
