About Yelverton War Memorial Hall

Our memorial hall is a modern building with glorious views over Dartmoor. We have a spacious hall, kitchen and separate meeting room.

There is parking for 30 cars with disabled bays next to the building and an access ramp to avoid the steps.

There are three areas - main hall, kitchen and meeting room. The kitchen is included in all bookings. Bookings can be made for either the meeting room or the main hall or both.

The Main Hall

• can accommodate 100 people seated or 200 standing

• is equipped with a separate bar area, 20 large tables and 90 chairs

The Meeting Room

• is set out with 5 tables and 14 chairs

The Kitchen

• is fully equipped, including crockery and cutlery, although without a dishwasher.

We do not provide glasses or washing-up materials such as washing-up liquid or tea towels

The facilities in the kitchen are for re-heating prepared food only.

There is a

• serving hatch and door between the kitchen and main hall

• serving hatch between the kitchen and the meeting room

We do not charge extra for heating, water or lighting.

PLEASE NOTE 

Following difficulties in the past, we do not accept bookings for parties for teenagers or young adults or similar events.
