To make a booking at Trowse Manor Rooms:

When you want to book an events at Trowse Manor Rooms, please do the following, even if you have booked before

  1. Read the documents: Terms and Conditions of Hire and Hire Charges.
  2. Go to the calendar page. Check availability. Click on New Booking and fill in the form.
  3. Your booking will be made provisional and then reviewed by our team. We may contact you to clarify details
  4. We will confirm your booking. If it is a series of dates, we will speak to you about payment options
  5. For one-off events we require a deposit with the booking followed by full payment one week before the event
  6. If you need to make special arrangements for any reason please contact us

If you haven't booked before or if it is for a one-off event such as a party then please call to arrange a viewing of the Manor Rooms. Please also bear in mind that the Manor Rooms is run by a team of volunteers who aim to give the best service to users of the village hall.

Please observe the following points as it will help you and the volunteers who run the Hall.

  • Please ensure you have booked enough time to set up at the beginning and clearing up after your event.
  • Please bring someone with you to help set up tables and chairs
  • Please make sure that your booking form and payment is with the Administrator by the weekend before your event as the bookings are confirmed online and sent to the Treasurer early on Monday mornings.
  • If you have an alcohol licence form that must be signed off by the Management Team please ensure that we receive the paperwork at least 10 days before the event
  • Please read through the ‘Conditions of Hire’ which includes all necessary information including where and how to collect keys etc.
  • Please make sure that you sweep the floor after your event, take away all rubbish and make sure that heaters and lights are turned off. Thank you

We also need to know whether you are a Trowse/Trowse Millgate/Whitlingham resident, a charity raising funds, or a commercial business so that we can select the correct hire rate.
