Welcome to Templar Arts & Leisure Centre!

Templar Arts & Leisure Centre (TALC) is a community led arts & leisure organisation in the centre of Tarbert, overlooking the busy and beautiful harbour.  Our building is run by volunteers as a charitable trust, providing affordable, accessible spaces in which every member of our community can meet, learn, and grow.  

Anyone can apply to book TALC for an event or activity.  Priority is given to local residents and organisations providing activities which benefit the local community.

We have 3 rooms across 3 floors, each with a different personality, which makes TALC a wonderful venue for a wide range of community activities, including arts & crafts workshops, fitness classes, community groups, meetings, coffee mornings and community events.

TALC is fully accessible - there is an accessible toilet on the ground floor, and a lift to access the middle and top floor rooms.

We offer free WiFi in all rooms.

The following spaces can be booked at TALC:

• Ground Floor room:  A large and airy space with a kitchen annexe, perfect for fitness classes, larger meetings, coffee mornings
• Middle Floor room:   A bright and inspiring space perfect for arts & crafts classes and workshops
• Top Floor room:           An elegant space offering privacy and quiet, perfect for meetings, reflective activities and groups
