About St Mary's Church, Woodford

Welcome to St Mary's. If you would like to book an event at our church you can do this through this website.

Our main church and various rooms are available to hire.

• The main church can be hired for concerts and talks;  we can seat an audience of up to 250.   We have two screens which can be used for presentations, showing pictures etc and an audio/visual system which can be used on request and with support from church staff.  Live streaming may be possible using your own You Tube channel.   Hot drinks and refreshments can be served from an area at the back of the church or in the church foyer by request.  if you want to serve refreshments please also book downstairs refreshments.
• The Gwinnell Room  is upstairs - accessible by stairs or lift.   This is ideal for parties, lunches and meetings, exercise classes and group and individual music practice.  The room  can take up to 50 people in various layouts and can be divided into two parts for more intimate meetings.  There is a large screen with various inputs for presentations,  showing videos etc.   It can also be used by choirs and orchestras for changing and rest during an event in church.  There is a fully equipped kitchen with a serving hatch.  Please book the Gwinnel Room Kitchen if you want to use the the kitchen facilities.

We have some smaller areas which can also be used during your event.  Please indicate on the booking form if you would like to discuss this.

There is an accessible toilet with baby changing facilities on the ground floor and further toilets upstairs; though these are not wheelchair accessible.
