About Robinson Institute, Glaisdale

The Robinson Institute is a community hall, managed by trustees, with the primary objective of serving the communities of Glaisdale and the Esk Valley. 

The hall can accommodate up to 100 people  with large and small tables available, with comfortable chairs.  The stage has both stage and spot lights with a fully functioning sound system including loop Hearing System (for the hard of hearing) and music station.

There is a large modern fully fitted kitchen which includes gas cooker/hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, hot water boiler and kettles.
The hall (which is a no smoking building) has a premises licence from Scarborough Borough Council to provide regulated entertainment and the sale of retail alcohol. The permitted hours and further details for the sale of alcohol are available from the bookings secretary. The Institute also holds 'PRS for Music' and PPL licences.
