Image of new pavilion loungeThe Sports and Social Club offers a fantastic brand new pavilion as a venue for special occasions of up to 120 people seated, or 200 standing to celebrate birthdays, christenings, weddings or any other occasion.
The venue comprises a main lounge and optional adjoining studio, with the option of a well-stocked fully-licensed bar, plus kitchen facilities.
The lounge is normally laid out with tables, each seating 4-6 people. We can provide additional tables, for buffets and the like, and the furniture can be configured to suit the needs of your occasion; for example, you may want the tables around the outside of the room, leaving the main area free for children's games. Additional outdoor tables and chairs are also available on request. The kitchen has been equipped to professional commercial standards.
The total area of the lounge is 8.3 metres x 9 metres and the Studio is 5.6 metres x 5 metres. The kitchen is 7.2 metres x 4.1 metres, with serving hatches to the main lounge and to the exterior of the building.
There are doors out onto the grass area of the Recreation Ground, which includes a zipwire and enclosed playground, where children may play safely.
Car parking is available for around 60 cars.
