Pillaton Village Hall is located opposite St Odulph’s Church in Pillaton, postcode PL12 6QS.
There are three areas
Bookings can be taken for any room or the entire building.
NOTE: For insurance purposes, we cannot exceed a total of 120 people, even if you have booked both the Main Hall and Meeting Room.
The Village Hall has an “ultrafast” fibre broadband connection (included in the hire charge). Please see the Pillaton Village Hall WiFi Addendum for terms of use. This can be found on the Documentation page.
The main hall has audio facilities as well as a fixed projector and electronic screen providing full AV capability.
Heating, water and lighting costs are included in the hall hire fee. All wall sockets (kitchen sockets included) use a pay meter, which accepts £1 coins only, this is situated on the wall to the left side of the stage in the main hall.
The adjacent playing field with play equipment is a public space and cannot be reserved for exclusive use.
PLEASE NOTE
Due to the difficulties faced by all unsupervised village halls with teenage birthday parties etc, bookings for these or similar events are not normally accepted, and all bookings are at the discretion of the Village Hall Committee. All children's parties must have at least 1 adult to 8 children ratio.
£10 per hour Minimum charge of £20 (for 2 hours). Further hours are @ £10*
08:00 to 24:00
The minimum slot of 2 hours is to allow for setting up and clearing up time before and after your session. If you require additional set up or clear up time, please ensure you book this.
*There is a special rate for regular village club activities (e.g. gardening club, art club etc). Please ask Chris Ley or Beth Bailey for details
