Norham Village Hall: Online Booking

About Norham Village Hall

Norham Village Hall is at the heart of a thriving village community approximately 7 miles inland from Berwick upon Tweed. The village is steeped in history and the hall sits halfway between the imposing 900 year old castle - famous for its record number of sieges - and the beautiful Norman church - famous for giving sanctuary to St Cuthbert. A short walk away is the border with Scotland marked by a bridge over the picturesque River Tweed.

Situated in the centre of the village on the site of the old smithy, the hall provides a welcoming venue for group activities, clubs and private events or functions. Over the years it has been considerably developed and we now offer a wide range of amenities to encourage use by both local residents and visitors.

The hall offers a range of spaces to suit a variety of requirements whatever the size of your group and we welcome everyone who wishes to come to enjoy our facilities. The main hall offers a large space which can be used to run a variety of activities such as fitness classes, exhibitions, lectures, fairs, parties, training days, concerts and it also has a stage. Should you wish a smaller space there is a separate room suitable for meetings or small gatherings for up to 15 people. On the first floor, there is a snooker room offering a full size snooker table. The fully equipped kitchen is available for your use. There is limited street parking.

The hall is managed by a committee of volunteer trustees and is a registered charity.
