About The Marindin Hall - Frensham’s Village Hall

The Marindin Hall is the Village hall for Frensham and Dockenfield and is an excellent venue for a wide range of activities; classes, Society meetings and parties. There are two adjoining halls that can be hired separately or together for larger events.

The Main Hall is ideal for large events, talks, performances and fitness activities and has an audio visual system available on request. It has a floor that makes it ideal for dancing and fitness and has a Stage.  It can accommodate up to 80 either as an audience or  when seated at tables.  We have crockery for up to 20 guests available as part of the hire charge.

The Green Hall (previously known as the Small Hall) is ideally suited to smaller classes or meetings, arts and crafts activities and, as it is next to the Main Hall, it can also be used to serve food or act as a bar.  

We have a kitchen with hatch access to the Main Hall and a Stage in the Main Hall.

The Marindin Hall can be hired as a whole premises or the Main Hall and Green Hall  may be hired separately. 

All hirers have shared use of the kitchen.

There is free wifi available throughout.

If you wish to sell alcohol at your event you will need to arrange a temporary events notice from Waverley Borough Council. You can find out more and apply online on the council's website.  There is a charge and you must give at least 10 day's notice.
