Established in 1973 by local volunteers and supporters. Llangadog Community Centre is in Llangadog Village in the Upper Towy Valley. It is at the heart of the village and hosts a wide range of events and local groups.

We are a registered charity (Charity Number: 1091163) and exist to promote the well-being of the inhabitants of Llangadog and district and to provide facilities for cultural, recreational and leisure time activities.

Inside the Community Centre, we have a large Main Hall, YMCA room, Green Room, Snooker Room, well equipped kitchen, snooker room and toilets (male and female) and a disabled toilet with baby changing facilities.

The large Main Hall has a stage, full surround system and stage lighting ideal for concerts, weddings, birthday parties and other large groups or events. The Main Hall can accommodate up to 204 people seated, or 390 standing.  There is also a piano.

The YMCA Hall is the most popular room. It can hold up to 54 people seated or 60 standing and is used for the majority of the regular groups held within the Centre. 

Our Green Room is an ideal room to hold meetings, training events or smaller groups. This main room holds up to 15 people and has a smaller meeting room off to the side and has both toilet and kitchen facilities.

There is ample car parking space at the rear of the centre with disabled spaces at the front of the centre.  There is a cycle shelter (up to 10 cycles) to the rear of the Centre.

Tables and chairs are also available for use.

There is gas central heating in all rooms.

Hire charges are all inclusive of use of kitchen and use of chairs and tables. 

The main kitchen is available to hirers of both the Main Hall and the YMCA Hall.  If both halls are booked at the same time by different hirers, the kitchen will be available to both hirers.  (It is sometimes possible to arrange exclusive access to the main kitchen, but you should state on your booking form if you require this).

Our very successful and well attended groups include WI, Merched y Wawr, Knit and Natter, film club, gardening club, beekeepers, whist drives and brownies. We also have weekly badminton and karate.  There is a full size snooker table.
