   Hillstown Village Hall

We are an independently run site serving the Hillstown & Bolsover district.

We have several rooms available for hire, suitable for most events.

• There is disabled access, parking, and toilets.
• The car park consists of 29 spaces, 5 disabled spaces, and 10 additional spaces in an overflow car park.
• The Village Hall is under 24-hour security camera surveillance.

Hire Costs:

Standard.     For general hires: business/ training / carboots, etc.

Local User Discount.  A local discount rate is available for Charity and Not-for-profit groups in the Bolsover Parish & Scarcliffe Parish area.  Proof is required.

Teenage Parties. Unfortunately, we no longer take bookings for teenage parties.

The Main Hall.  Size  14.57 m x 9.35 m

The perfect venue for parties and events, with a seated capacity of 100 people and a connecting kitchen with a serving hatch. Hire includes the use of the kitchen with a '5' very-good hygiene rating.

The Studio.  Size  9.4 m x 5.9 m

The ideal room for fitness or dance classes with its full-length mirrors, as well as for larger meetings.  A seated capacity of 40 people and also has a small kitchen.

The Meeting Room.   Size 5 m x 4 m approx

A cosy yet spacious room with a kitchenette.  A fantastic space for small meetings or support groups. Seated capacity: 10 people.

The Garden Room*.   Size. 11.8 m x 6m

Suitable for up to 45 people 

Our new Garden Room is a bit special, ideal for meetings and private events. A stylish modern function room to hire all year round.

It is a self-contained, air-conditioned room with disabled access, toilets, and a kitchen. 

Wall-mounted projection screen.

*This room is unsuitable for events requiring the hanging of party decorations as this will damage the decor of the room.

We do not allow pets in this carpeted area. Please look at the Studio or Main Hall for alternative rooms.    

The Pavilion.  Size 4.1 m x 6.9 m  
For up to 20 people seated with a small kitchen with a serving hatch. This is generally only available for the Bowling clubs.

The Hillstown Bowling Green 

Several bowling groups have regular use of the green. Why not join one?

The Sports / Recreation Field.  Size 168 X 168 m

Football pitch.

If it's a large, open space that you need, the Hillstown Sports Field is a perfect candidate. It is perfect for sports practice, it has an Astro Turn  38 by 20 m area.  It would also be appropriate for all sports and other special club events.
