To make a booking at Brabourne and Smeeth Village Hall:
Read the documents: Summary / Checklist of Conditions of Use, Hiring Policy, Standard Conditions of Hire, Health and Safety Policy, Health and Safety Risk Assessment, Fire Safety Information for Hirers, Safeguarding Policy and Privacy Policy.
Go to the calendar page. Check availability. Click on New Booking and fill in the form.
- You will receive an email with confirmation and a request for advance payment ( one-off bookings).
- Following receipt of payment, you will receive another email confirming your event and will be given the access code to the key safe by the main door and WiFi code.
- Regular bookings will be invoiced at the end of the month.

Please observe the following points as it will help you and the unpaid volunteers who run the hall.
- The hall is currently available for use between 06:00 and 01:00, with no provision to sell alcohol on the premises. Should users wish to hold events outside of these hours and/or sell alcohol, you are invited to apply for a Temporary Event Notice (TEN) from Ashford Borough Council. You can bring and consume your own alcohol on the premises during your event.
- Please ensure you have booked enough time to set up at the beginning and clear up after your event.
- Any equipment hired ( eg bouncy castles) must have appropriate liability insurance as the hall insurance does not cover anything that is brought into the hall.
- Late Saturday night events can book time on Sunday mornings at no charge to clear up if they wish, if the hall is free and available.
- Please make sure that your money is with the administrator by the weekend before your event.
- Please read through the Summary / Checklist of Conditions of Use, Hiring Policy and Standard Conditions of Hire, which include all necessary information.
- Access to the hall is via a key safe. The number is only shared after a payment has been received.
- The hall does not have a TV licence but does pay PRS and PPL licences.
