To make a booking at Berryfield Village Hall:

  1. Important. You must read our document: Standard Conditions of Hire.pdf (link at the bottom of this page)
  2. We require a minimum of 7-days notice for all booking requests. 
  3. Go to the calendar page. Check availability. Click on ‘+ New Booking’ fill in the form and submit.
  4. To hire the total space ('all of it') please click both the ‘big bit/small bit’ as a multi-room booking. 
    The partition will be removed unless requested to be left in situ (please add a note if required).
  5. We will review your booking request and send an invoice to you by email.
  6. Please make sure payment by BACS or cheque is made as soon as possible; your booking is not confirmed until payment is received.
  7. Once we have payment we will confirm your booking by email.
  8. One week before the event you will receive a reminder with details and confirmation about accessing the hall.

Please observe the following points as it will help you and the unpaid volunteers who run the Hall.

  • Our calendar sets a minimum of 30 minutes between each booking to allow hirers 15 minutes before and after their booking to set up before and clear away after each event, ready for the next user. You will not be charged for this.
  • If you need more time, please ensure you have included extra time for this as part of your booking request. We recommend that parties allow at least an additional half an hour before and after the party invitation times.
  • Please respect this so that the space is available and clear for the next hirer.
  • Hirers are not permitted to move the partition.
  • Read 'Important Information for Hall Hirers' which includes all necessary information about using the facility.
