To make a booking at Berryfield Village Hall:
- Important. You must read our document: Standard Conditions of Hire.pdf (link at the bottom of this page)
- We require a minimum of 7-days notice for all booking requests.
- Go to the calendar page. Check availability. Click on ‘+ New Booking’ fill in the form and submit.
- To hire the total space ('all of it') please click both the ‘big bit/small bit’ as a multi-room booking.
The partition will be removed unless requested to be left in situ (please add a note if required). - We will review your booking request and send an invoice to you by email.
- Please make sure payment (by BACS/electronic money transfer or cheque) is made as soon as possible; your booking is not confirmed until payment is received. We do not accept cash.
- Once we have received payment, we will confirm your booking by email.
- To access the hall on the day of your booking, our key holder will meet you there 15 minutes prior to your start time to unlock the hall and brief you.
Please observe the following points as it will help you and the unpaid volunteers who run the Hall.
- Our calendar sets a minimum of 30 minutes between each booking to allow hirers 15 minutes free before and after their session to set up before and clear away after each event, ready for the next user.
- If you need more time, please ensure you have included extra time for this as part of your booking request. We recommend that parties allow at least an additional half an hour before and after the party invitation times.
- Please take your rubbish with you. Bin bags are provided.
- Please respect this so that the space is available and clear for the next hirer.
- Hirers are not permitted to move the partition.
- You must read our document 'Important Information for Hall Hirers' which includes all necessary information about using the facility.
