About Arnesby Village Hall

 

The hall was originally built in timber in the 1920s and re-built as a brick building in the 1960s.

It is widely used for exercise classes, film club, birthday parties, Parish Council meetings, hobby groups etc.

It consists of one large space approximately 12m by 7m redecorated in 2024. It has a fully fitted kitchen and newly refurbished (2024) WCs for men, women and the disabled.

The hall also now has wifi.

The hall can accommodate 80 people standing, or 60 seated.

There is disabled access either through the main entrance or via a ramp to a side door.

Chairs and tables are included in the hire charge and kept in the store room.

Cutlery, crockery and glasses are included in the hire charge and kept in the kitchen.

 

Please note the hall is used daily by the adjoining primary school during term time for assemblies and lunches. The school can make alternate arrangements should you wish to book during those times.

The school playing field has been provisionally added to the calendar pending lease transfer to the Parish Council. For the time being there is no hire charge.

 

The equipment calendar is for loans or hire of AVHT items such as gazebos.
