To make a booking at Acme Community Centre:

  1. Read the Terms and Conditions.
  2. Go to the calendar page. Check availability. Click on New Booking and fill in the form.
    • If you're wanting to book the Double Meeting room, please select both “Single Meeting Room” options.
    • If you're wanting to book the Full Facility, please select ALL room options.
  3. When asked for a password, create a password that you can use to log in an make changes to your booking. 
    DO NOT FORGET THIS PASSWORD - it CANNOT be reset. 
    You need this password in the event you need change or cancel your booking.

Cancellation Policy

In the event the Renter wants to cancel the reserved date for their event, the Renter must go to the Online Booking Site, log in using the password they created, and cancel their event. 

All cancellations are subject to the following condition:

  1. Any cancellation made less than 30 days prior to the event may be subject to a cancellation fee of fifty percent (50%) of the rental fee paid.
     

Please Note the Following:

  • Please ensure you have booked enough time to set up at the beginning and clearing up after your event.
  • Please make sure that your booking form is complete.
  • Please ensure your invoice for Damage Deposit is paid to the Hall Board within 48 hours of receiving the invoice. Your booking will only be approved once payment is received.
  • Please ensure your invoice for the Rental Fee is paid by the last business day prior to the event. When paying your invoice, please include the invoice number with the payment.
  • Please schedule a walk-through prior to the event. To book a walk-through, please contact one of the following individuals: Viv at 403-546-3784 (home) / 403-369-1301 (cell) OR Shelly at 403-546-3883 (home) / 403-813-3233 (cell)
  • If you are planning on selling and/or serving alcohol at your event, you MUST get $2,000,000 liability insurance and a liquor license for the date of your event. 
    Liquor Licenses can be obtained through AGLC: https://aglc.ca/liquor/liquor-licences
    Liability Insurance can be obtained through PAL Insurance: https://www.palcanada.com/index.php/en-us/?gad_source=1
  • Copies of the liability insurance and liquor license MUST be emailed to [email protected] prior to receiving keys for the facility.
  • Please read through the "Terms and Conditions" which includes all necessary information including where and how to collect keys etc.
