2nd Heald Green Scout Group

We are ideal for kids parties, UV parties, disco's, community classes and can host a bouncy castle outside on the field with a dedicated power socket. Small bouncy castles are permitted inside - see hut dimensions.

Facilities

• Scout Hut Hall:  40 persons, benches along the sides of the room,(includes use of kitchen), WI-FI, Whiteboard, HDMI Projector.
• Scout Hut Kitchen: One double oven and 6 electric hobs, double sink, microwave, toaster, hot water urn, small fridge and freezer.
• Scout Hut Meeting Room: White Folding Table, 6 black fabric chairs, coat hooks - ideal for setup and storage during your event.
• Scout Hut Toilets: One accessible, one standard, hand dryer, baby change unit and double sink.
• Scout Hut Field and Activity Area: Can be used but shared with church please enquire, has outside power socket for bouncy castle.
• Scout Hut Entrance: 8 blue folding tables (1.8m x 60cm), 40 grey plastic chairs, a vaccumm, mop and bucket, 2 standard brushes and 2 swifter mops.

All rubbish must be taken with you as we don’t have a bin service at present, bin bags are provided.

Field and car park is shared between all bookings, please be courteous to other users and our neighbours.

Rate is £15 per hour, we take a £100 refundable deposit with all bookings.

Alternative halls

We are co-located with the Heald Green Methodist Church, and can also assist in booking of the church hall and extension, which may be suitable if the Scout hut is occupied or you need additional space. 

Booking Process

Make the booking (you are committing, if speculative, please don’t book until sure)

You will have your booking confirmed and invoice sent out on the next Wednesday following your booking.

Make prompt payment of your invoice either within 28 days of your booking or immediately if less

Follow the instructions in the invoice carefully.

Note all bookings require a £100 refundable deposit to be paid and our charges are £17 per hour effective September 2026. 

Ensure you book enough time to setup and clean, please take all rubbish with you (bin bags provided)
