About Little Weighton Village Hall

Situated right in the middle of the village of Little Weighton, with a car park to the rear, the hall has undergone a major refurbishment and is now a bright, welcoming space with full facilities for the disabled. Free Wi-Fi is available. The hall is licensed for 100 people and can be divided into three separate spaces:

The Weighton Room is the larger of our two halls. It measures 9.2 m x 5.2 m and has a wall-mounted screen and an audio-visual system. It has step-free access to the kitchen (no extra charge) and a hearing loop.

• The Rowley Room is slightly smaller at 7.5 m x 5.2 m, has a serving hatch to the kitchen, and is linked to the Weighton Room by folding doors. When opened, these doors create one large hall 16.7 m long. It has step-free access to the kitchen (no extra charge), a hearing loop, and an electric piano.

• The Hunsley Suite has its own front door and a lobby leading to a small room with a hand wash basin, making it ideal for anyone wanting a treatment room plus waiting room. The lobby can also be used as a small meeting room for up to 8 people. It does not have access to the kitchen unless the Rowley Room is unoccupied.

We have 100 chairs, 16 large tables, 6 small square tables and 13 round café-style tables. There is a modular stage that can be configured into various shapes, up to 8 sq. m. We have an electric piano and a flipchart/whiteboard. In the kitchen, there are 100 each of mugs, cups and saucers, large plates, small plates, bowls and cutlery; a dishwasher; two ovens; two hobs; a microwave; 2 sinks; and a selection of glasses. One of the hobs and a worktop are at wheelchair height. The disabled toilet also has nappy-changing facilities. Free wi-fi is installed (password-protected).

Hiring Charges

We charge by the session, i.e. morning 8.30-12.30; afternoon 13:00-18:00; evening 18:30-23:00.  For regular bookings, the fees are as follows:

Weighton Room £22; Rowley Room £18;  Hunsley Suite £15.  Weighton and Rowley together £30.  Both rooms together for a whole day £80.

Adult parties and concerts:  £70

Children's parties £40.00

Weddings:  price on application

 Use of the entire building for the whole day £100
