About Watlington Club

As well as providing a range of sports and leisure activities through our Club Sections and partners the we also have rooms available for private functions for members to hire. 

Details of these rooms are given below. Capacities given are an estimate but much depends on layout. 

The club has 12 trestle tables and 100 chairs available for the Hall and Georgian Room. Please check availability if you need all of them. 

The Hall

A spacious hall with doors opening onto a patio and garden area. 

The hall measures about 8m x 13m. 

Capacity: as a guide about 100 people seated; 150 standing only. 

Please note that there are no facilities to make refreshments in the room.

The Georgian Room

As the name suggests, a Georgian Style room at the heart of the building. 

The room measures 5.8m x 7.2m which includes the area taken up by the serving counter. 

Capacity: as a guide about 40 people seated; 70 standing only.

There is  also a wash up area with hot and cold water.  

This room can be hired together with The Hall as there are connecting doors.  Ideal for parties. 

A food preparation area is also available with the Georgian Room. 

The Front Room

The room is divided into two parts connected by a small step; the main area measures 4.7m x 4.3 m. The smaller upper area measures 3.3m x 4.3m which includes a serving counter. 

Capacity: as a guide about 25 people seated. It would be possible to have additional people standing but the furniture in this room cannot be removed.
