Townsend Community Centre is a multi-purpose community resource that provides a range of services, activities and meeting spaces for people of all ages. The Community Centre is a great venue for all types of activities.
The centre is available for hire and has two main spaces which can be used. The Community Hall has a brand new kitchen and outside courtyard. The drop-in room is a great space for meetings and smaller gatherings which has its own entrance at the back of the building.
The centre has recently been refurbished throughout, including a fantastic new kitchen.

The Townsend Community Fridge is open Monday to Friday mornings, 9am - 11.30am and there are many other groups which use the centre on a regular basis, including Bingo, Keep Fit, Molly Dancing, Darts, Homework Club, and Church groups.

The Townsend Community Centre is situated in between the One Stop Shop and the local school, Jewell Academy.
The Townsend Community Centre is managed by Townsend Community Association. Townsend Community Association is a registered charity responsible for the operation and management of the Townsend Community Centre. The Centre is run by volunteers; there are no paid members of staff.
