To make a booking at Swanland Village Hall:

WE NEED 14 DAYS NOTICE TO BOOK ANY OF OUR ROOMS,  TO ENSURE THERE IS NO CLASH OF INTERESTS AND 

TO RECEIVE PAYMENT PRIOR TO BOOKING.

We are NOT able to accept bookings for BOUNCY CASTLES and other inflatables

 

  1. Read the documents: Terms and Conditions and Hire Charges.
  2. Go to the calendar page. Check availability. Click on New Booking and fill in the form.
  3. The Booking Secretary will be in touch (usually by email) to discuss and agree the booking, once agreed you will be send an invoice.  Please ensure prompt payment of the deposit (Banks details on the invoice) and that the Balance and Security Deposit are paid by the date given on the invoice.

Please observe the following points as it will help you and the unpaid volunteers who run the Hall.

  • Please ensure you have booked enough time to set up at the beginning and clearing up after your event (we usually recommend a minimum of 30 minutes at the beginning and end of your booking).
  • .We only provide tables and chairs, the caretaker will put them out for you.
  • We have a maximum of 32 tables and 150 chairs.
  • Please do not attach anything to the walls.  Te Swan Hall has rails around the room and items can be hung from these rails.
  • If you are selling alcohol, you will need a TENs Licence from the East Riding Council.  (The Hall is not licenced for the sale of alcohol by anyone except by the Trustees for fundraising events). Please inform the Booking Secretary before applying for a TENs Licence.
  • Please read through the "Terms and Conditions of Hire" which includes all necessary information.
