About Seil Island Community Hall

At Ellenabeich a drill hall was constructed in Victorian times  and this remained as a community centre until 2007 when it was replaced on adjacent land by Seil Island Community Hall. The Hall is used regularly by local groups and for special one-off events such as school concerts, public meetings, theatrical and musical events, family gatherings, weddings and childrens parties etc.

The hall has capacity for:

•  120 mixed occupancy tables and dance
• 180 dancing only
• 150 closely seated audience

Our hall is available to hire 7 days a week. We welcome community groups and activities that contribute to our islands educational, cultural, recreational, social welfare and sporting interests
