About Parham Village Hall

Parham Village Hall started life in 1920 as an army Hut which was brought from Felixstowe and constructed on land donated to the Village by Captain Corrance. It  is affectionately known as “The Parham Hut”.    Since then it has been  extended and renovated a few times and has been at the heart of Village life.  Over the years it  has been  used for many community activities, including family parties, coffee mornings, toddler groups, youth clubs, exercise classes, jumble sales and  many more 

The venue comprises the following

Main Hall

The Main Hall is a large space with provision for 114 people seated at tables or 130 seated as an audience.   It has a fully sprung floor which is excellent for all types of dancing. It also contains a stage with a curtain for performances of plays, music or dance. The back of the stage can be accessed from the Annex, which can be used as a  Green Room /changing area  for performances.   Without seating the Main Hall is ideal for all types of exercise classes.  There is also a screen and projector for showing films or giving talks. 

Meeting Room

The Meeting Room can seat up to 60 people. It is ideal for committee meetings, interest groups or as a reception area for larger events.  

Kitchen

The kitchen is well equipped with a cooker, fridge and microwave. It has plenty of counter space for food preparation. Food can be served directly to people in the Main Hall via a hatch.  

Bar

The Bar is well stocked and has a hatch, which allows serving people in the Main Hall and Snooker Room 

Snooker Room

The Snooker Room is equipped with 2 full-sized snooker tables with various cues.    It has seating and tables to allow people to relax and watch or play snooker.

General Information

The Village Hall is well lit,  heated  and has good Wi-Fi signal throughout. There is a wheel chair accessible toilet, which also contains baby changing facilities.  There is a car park for about 30 cars.
