Originally built as a church hall in 1908, St John's Hall is now run by a small group of local trustees as a charitable service for the community, providing a space for people and organisations to use at a reasonable rate.
Set in the centre of Mortimer Village with its own parking and within easy reach of all the local shops and amenities, St John's Hall is a great venue for community, corporate and private events. It can be used for parties, health clubs, exhibitions, concerts, dinners and more, and features a superb sprung floor, lots of ambient light from tall windows on three sides, and a beautiful wood-beamed high ceiling.
The main hall provides an adaptable and multi-purpose space and is comfortably able to host events both large and small, a kitchen equipped to cope with most catering requirements, tables and padded chairs if needed, and a purpose-built stage area with lighting and dressing rooms.
