About Moira Village Hall

Moira Village Hall is a modern community hall situated in Moira, South Derbyshire and offers three rooms for hire, along side a large self catering kitchen.

A local public house is licensed to provide bar facilities for adult parties & other special occasions.

We have a large car park with disabled spaces and an overflow car park for larger events. Our hall is on one level meaning access for disabled/ wheelchair is very easy.

Our Maple hall has a stage and can accommodate 150 people seated at tables and 180 people theatre style. It has a stage which can be accessed from the rear & also steps leading up from the front. There is also a PA system & Wi-Fi is available. The room also had 2 sets of patio doors leading onto a patio area and the rear grounds. Due to it's high ceiling, it can also accommodate a bouncy castle.

The Youth wing can seat up to 50 people. This room is self contained, with its own toilet facilities/baby changing and direct access to the kitchen. This room also has a PA system & Wi-Fi.

The Cosy Chestnut  Room can seat up to 25 people. It has arm chairs & folding tables and is ideal as a meeting room. This room also has Wi-Fi. We do not allow food in this room.

As well as the large self catering kitchen there is a small front kitchen with a water boiler for making drinks, a fridge and a server counter facing directly onto the entrance area that is fitted out with tables and chairs. This seating area is directly accessed through the entrance and is accessible to all visitors. This room becomes the licensed bar for events which require it.
