About Misterton Village Hall

A welcoming, flexible and fully accessible venue for celebrations, clubs, meetings and community events in the heart of Misterton.

Misterton Village Hall is at the heart of our community, situated beside the Recreation Ground at the top of Unity Lane, just off Middle Street (A356).

Built in 1975 for the benefit of local residents, the Hall is a registered charity managed by a dedicated team of volunteer trustees. While we receive no local authority funding, the Hall continues to thrive thanks to the support of our hirers, fundraising events and the efforts of local volunteers.

Over the years, the Hall has become a popular venue for a wide variety of events, from wedding receptions, anniversaries and birthday celebrations to craft fairs, community gatherings, fitness classes and regular club activities. Recent renovation and improvement projects have ensured that the Hall remains a well-maintained, welcoming and modern space for everyone to enjoy.

One of the Hall's greatest strengths is its versatility. The spacious main hall, with its neutral décor and bright interior, provides a blank canvas that can be transformed to suit any occasion. Whether you're planning an elegant wedding reception, a themed party, a community event or a business presentation, the space can be decorated to create exactly the atmosphere you're looking for.

The Hall is fully accessible and offers excellent facilities for all visitors. Free on-site parking is available both in front of and behind the building, with space for more than 40 vehicles. A dedicated bar area adjoining the main hall provides an ideal space for serving refreshments and socialising during events.

Regular weekly activities include Karate, Table Tennis, Yoga and Dance classes, and the hall floor is marked for badminton, with a badminton net and stands available for hirers.

Meeting Room – comfortable seating for up to 15 people.

Kitchen Facilities – available for use with all bookings.

Competitive hire rates include heating, lighting and use of the kitchen facilities.
