The Baldons Village Hall is suitable for a wide range of events – over the years it has hosted dancing classes, art classes, charitable events, fencing classes, toddlers mornings, youth club evenings, children’s birthday parties, grown-up’s birthday parties, wedding receptions, seniors parties, quiz nights, plant swaps, lectures and musical evenings.
Built in 1987 to replace an earlier wooden structure (that unfortunately got caught by an over-enthusiastic bonfire) in the last five years it has undergone a complete refurbishment – with WiFi, energy efficient lighting, a new boiler and complete redecoration. The hall is light and airy and has proved popular with art and needlework classes.
The hall is fully accessible with a disabled toilet. We have a fully equipped kitchen, crockery and cutlery for large numbers, as well as tables and chairs. It is fully licensed for music performance and has a PA system that can be made available.
The hall seats up to 100 or 50-70 when laid out for dining. There is a good size car park for users and an outdoor space with grass and trees.
