Frequently Asked Questions

When can I arrive for my booking?

Please include set up and tidy away time as part of your booking request, this time is charged at the usual rate. Your arrival time should be the start of your booking slot.

Can I leave my rubbish and will someone tidy up after my event?

Our hall is administered entirely by volunteers and we do not provide staffing for events. You need to return furniture to its original position, sweep and tidy away when your event has finished. We do not have storage for rubbish, please take your rubbish bags away with you. The broom cupboard holds tools for cleaning.

Do you have any storage for regular bookings?

All our storage is currently in use and is full. You are welcome to check with our Hall Administrators but we are unlikely to be able to help with storing items between sessions, sorry about that.

Do you have WiFi?

Yes. Our Hall Administrators can provide you with the password.

May we borrow a screen to project onto, or a Flipchart?

Yes. Our Hall Administrators will show you where they are stored. Please return after use. You'll need to provide your own pens for the Flipchart.

Do you have a bluetooth speaker we could use?

For events in the church, we can arrange access to the church's sound system on request. For church hall and smaller events, you will find it easier to bring your own speaker.

May we use the kitchen?

Use of the kitchen is included in the price of your booking, but does not include use of the oven or dishwasher, please ask for details if you need to use either).

Is it possible to use the Church space or the small meeting room?

Please contact the hall administrators to discuss your requirements. We are often able to help.

Do you hold a licence for the sale of alcohol?

No, you will need to organise a temporary license if you wish to sell alcohol. Please speak to our hall administrators for permission though, before doing submitting an application for a license.
