About Ludgvan Community Centre

Welcome to Ludgvan Community Centre! A not for profit organisation, we are the local hub for community activities, sports fixtures, weekly bingo with more and more events and activities starting each week. Both our indoor and outdoor spaces are designed to cater to all ages, abilities and interests with a fully licensed bar boasting beautiful views, free car parking, children's play park and a huge playing field.

Facilities available for hire:

Sports hall - 400 standing / 250 seated

Bolton room - 60 standing / 48 seated

Lounge bar - 85 

Small meeting room - 5

Playing fields - n/a

The centre is available for you to book for all your family events and celebrations and we can work with you to make the spaces your own. You can make a provisional booking from the ‘Calendar’ page by selecting your chosen date and clicking ‘new booking’. once your booking has been approved, we will send you all the relevant information by email. Alternatively, you can call 01736 688442 during office hours, to make an enquiry or booking.

Our hire prices are based on per hour, per room, ranging between £15 - £20 per hour.

As of 17th January 2025, we are adjusting our community centre hire costs to ensure we continue offering an accessible and welcoming space for everyone. This change will affect bookings made after this date meaning a slight increase in rates for corporate groups, larger charities and organisations, whilst keeping the same affordable rates for community and local groups and small charities. 

Why the difference? Community and local groups are at the heart of what our centre is about- creating a space where people can connect, grow, and thrive together. By asking corporate users to contribute a little more, we can maintain lower costs for the community groups who rely on us most.

This approach helps us cover our running costs while staying true to our mission of supporting the community.
