To make a booking at Horsted Keynes Village Hall:

  1. Read the documents on this site - in particular you must read the Conditions of Hire as you will be accepting these terms when making a booking.
  2. Go to the calendar page. Check availability. Click on New Booking and fill in the form.

Please observe the following points as it will help you and the unpaid volunteers who run the Hall.

  • Please ensure you have booked enough time to fully set up at the beginning and clear up after your event. Other bookings may start immediately after your event so please give yourself enough time.
  • Please make sure that your booking form is with the Administrator by the weekend before your event as the bookings are confirmed online and sent to the Caretaker on Sunday evenings.
  • If you plan to sell alcohol or host any other activities that require a license (Temporary Event Notice) then it is your responsibility to obtain this license and to notify the Bookings Secretary that you intend to do so.
  • Please read through the "Conditions of Hire" which includes all necessary information including where and how to collect keys etc.
  • Please note that because of the shared kitchen and loos we only allow concurrent bookings of the small and main hall for our regular account holder bookings. As such the cost of hiring the Main Hall for private events is the same as the rate for exclusive use of venue.
