To book a full day or several days please contact us to discuss your needs and charges.

To make a booking at Heron Hall:

Follow these 2 simple steps

  1. Read the documents: Terms and Conditions of Hire and Hire Charges.
  2. Go to the calendar page. Check availability. Click on New Booking and fill in the form.

Your booking isn't confirmed until you receive a confirmation email approving your booking.

Our cancellation rules are:

  1. No charge if cancelled 4 weeks or more before a confirmed booking date
  2. 50% of booking charge is due if cancellation is between 1 and 4 weeks before a booking
  3. 100% of booking charge is due if cancellation is 1 week (7 days) or less before a booking

Regular Bookers

We offer a discounted rate of £10 per hour for weekly hall users. Please use the booking system as above, creating a user profile to book as far in advance as needed. Regular bookers will be invoiced monthly in advance of any bookings in that period. 

Cancellation rules (as above) apply to regular users.

Hall Guidelines

Please observe the following key guidelines as it will help you and the unpaid volunteers who run the Hall.

  • Before your event ensure that :
    • You have booked enough time to set up at the beginning and clearing up after your event.
    • Your booking form and payment is with the Administrator a minimum of 7 days before your event
    • If you  need a Temporary Event Licence to allow the sale of alcohol you contact the administrator to arrange this before your booking is confirmed
    • You have arranged any logistical details associated with your event e.g. collection and return of keys by emailing bookings@heronhall.co.uk
  • After your event ensure that:
    • All rubbish is removed from the hall and taken away.
    • There are black bin liners available in the kitchen.
    • All nappies are taken away.
    • All lights are turned off.
    • The water heater in the kitchen is turned off.
    • The hall is swept and mopped if needed.
    • Any spills are cleaned up. We have some cleaning equipment available in the kitchen and in the Ladies washroom cupboard.
    • All internal doors are closed.
    • The main door is bolted and key locked at the top and bottom.
