To make a booking at Hatch Beauchamp Village Hall:

  1. Read the documents: Terms & Conditions of Hire, Fire Precautions, Safeguarding, Essential Information & Hire Charges.
  2. Go to the calendar page. Check availability. Click on New Booking, fill in the online form and submit your new booking request.

Upon receipt of your new booking request, the booking Administrator will check your information is correct and that the dates/times do not conflict with other bookings and will then confirm the booking by email directly from the booking system.


You will receive an invoice for the booking (usually invoiced at the start of the calendar month that the events will take place).
It is recommended that regular hall users who require scheduled bookings (ie 0900-1000hrs every Wednesday throughout March), submit all appropriate dates for a single calendar month in a single booking request. This will then allow the invoicing of repeat bookings to be invoiced together, per calendar month.
Hirers can still book each event date/time separately, but this will generate a separate invoice for each booking request.

Please observe the following points as it will help you and the volunteers who run the Hall.

  • Please ensure you have booked enough time to set up at the beginning and clearing up after your event.
  • If alcohol is to be sold at the event an application MUST be made in good time to Somerset Council for a Temporary Liquor Licence, a copy of which to be sent to the Booking Administrator and a copy to be displayed in the hall during the event.
  • Please read through the "Terms and Conditions of Hire" which includes all necessary information including where and how to collect keys etc.
