About Grimsbury Community Centre

Grimsbury community centre is run by volunteers who dedicate their time to support local residents young and old in accessing support, local services and activity.

Our centre offers a base for organisations and local residents to deliver a packed calendar of events for all ages including Tai Chi, Dance, Art, Needle craft, Ceramics, Boot Camp and other active sessions,  Guitar classes, Parent and tot groups and many more. 

As volunteers we work with local partners including Cherwell District Council, Age UK (Oxfordshire), NHS and others to bring services into Grimsbury for you.

Main Hall

A capacity of 50

There are 20 6ft x 2ft tables and chairs available for use

Small Meeting room

This small space (approx. 3.5m x 3.5m) is naturally lit and can seat 10. It is more suited to consultation hire rather than activities. Whilst there is access to the main kitchen and toilet facilities they may at any time be shared with the hirer of the Main Hall. 

Booking

Your booking accepts you have read and understood the ‘Terms and Conditions of hire and booking’ found on the ‘documentation' page of this website along with the community policy on Equality and Diversity.

If you would like to view the hall before booking then please call down on a Thursday afternoon between 2 and 4.30pm when volunteers will be pleased to show you around.

Conditions of Hire:

All hire fees must be paid at least 10 Days before your event 

To cancel a booking you must inform the Hall 10 days before the event

Sorry, but we are unable to accept bookings for adult or teenage (older than 12 years) parties

No alcohol may be served at this venue 

Sorry, but strictly no Bouncy Castles

You must book enough time for setup and clean up so if your hire is for 1 hr you need to book an extra 1 hr for setup up and clean up.

The Hall must be left clean after your hire or a £50.00 cleaning charge will apply.

The hire charge is £12 for each hour for local residents/voluntary groups (for Business/corporate or non-local charity bookings and rates please enquire by email).
