About The Fountain

Lesmahagow Development Trust have now taken over the management of The Fountain and are operating the venue for the people of Lesmahagow and beyond.  The doors are now open to meet the social, leisure and entertainment needs of local people and with the support of the community we hope that we can secure the long-term future of this iconic venue. 

The Fountain can provide a number of flexible spaces suitable for a wide range of community and social activities, including a children's' adventure soft play area and rentable office space. 

Main Hall
This area can accommodate up to 140 people seated theatre style or 80 people seated cabaret style for social functions (with space for a band and dance floor area).

AJ Macintyre Suite (Lesser Hall)

This area is ideal for smaller events and meetings and can be hired on its own or along with the Main Hall

Office/Therapy Room

This area is a small room ideal for an Office or Treatment room. It can be hired for short periods or full days.

Soft Play

This is a custom built soft play room for children under 5. It can be booked for parties and outwith party bookings will be available as a walk-in play room. All children using the play room must be supervised by an adult at all times.

Bar & Catering

The Fountain has a commercial kitchen which can be hired and we can provide bar facilities for all types of functions.  Our licence allows children to stay until the end of the event.

Unfortunately we do not provide hires for 18th or 21st birthday parties.
