The role of citizen science in monitoring water quality and protecting the unique Wensum and Tat rivers.
Can ordinary citizens save our rivers? The health of our rivers continues to decline. With pollutants increasing and biodiversity decreasing, our freshwater sources are threatened. Armed with testing kits and surveys, citizens are conducting scientific examinations and gathering data. Can this work? This is the story of a citizen science project aimed at improving the health of the river Wensum, a sight of special scientific interest and rare chalk stream.

Kundalini Yoga is known as the yoga of awareness, and although it shares many of its roots with other brands of Yoga, it is the only Yoga that works with what is known as “kundalini rising”, which is your prana, chi, or what we refer to as energy rising up from your root (base of the spine) to the crown (top of the head).
?
Kundalini actually means “coiled”, so we are literally using asana (movement), pranayama (breathwork), and sound (mantra) to work with our energy to stimulate the largest nerve in the parasympathetic nervous system, the vagus nerve to stimulate this energy flow from root to the crown in kriya practice.
Kundalini Yoga is known as the yoga of awareness. It is powerful and potent and designed to allow us this connection to what is our beautiful, unique human self, and all that we are truly capable of.
Out of all of the modalities I teach Kundalini Yoga is the most powerful practice to learn to truly connect to the true identity and purpose of your life, which is to be the incredible authentic soul you were born in this life to be…just you, without the need to mimic or fear the judgment of others.
When we are authentic, we shine, and when we shine we inspire others.

Event overview
Welcome to Ride North Norfolk. We have quiet country routes to suit everyone. We are a community organised ride in our eleventh year and we are still going strong.
This year we have our popular routes ranging through 15, 25, 36, 66 (100k), and 100 miles.
Go local. We are a locally organised but professionally run cycle ride. We pride ourselves on our community involvement and relaxed, friendly rides. Where possible we use local companies, local clubs, locally sourced produce and cakes. Everyone is welcome to join us to enjoy our beautiful town and its surrounding countryside. You can ride just for fun or to support your own charity or our official charity.
Ride North Norfolk is an enjoyable; non-competitive sportif, starting from the picturesque North Norfolk market town of Fakenham and goes through some of the best, gentle cycling routes in the country. It is the culmination of an exciting nine days of activities in and around the town.
There are various options (approximate lengths) 15 miles, 25 miles, 36 miles 66 miles (100k). Or combine for 102 miles. Each rider will be provided with a branded drawstring “goodie” bag, souvenir water bottle, medal on completion, insurance, a map, signage, registration, marshals, mobile mechanics, support, rescue service, drinks and refreshments (including our famous homemade flapjack) on route, advice and information.
Download files will be available, and maps will be given to all riders. We have been told that our arrows and signage make these unnecessary and are clear to follow.
Music, massage and nourishment at the community centre and gardens, including hot food, stalls, massage, 1st aid, activities, drink and music and more cakes. This is open to both riders and non-riders.
