History
The original building dates back to 1862 and has a proud heritage as the former Girls & Infants School, and latterly, the Church Hall. It was modified and reopened as the Village Hall in 1973 and recently celebrated its 50th anniversary. Enabled by multiple grants, the hall was fully refurbished in 2024.
Facilities
Hiring the hall gives you access to the whole building and its car park. The building is comprised of an entrance area, washrooms, main hall with stage and a well-equipped catering kitchen. Outside, there is a patio area at the front and an enclosed courtyard to the rear. There is a ramp to the main entrance, step-free access throughout (excluding the stage area) and an accessible toilet. Baby change facilities are provided.
