About Christ Church Centre, New Catton

The Christ Church Centre is located next door to Christ Church. We have Car Parking for up to 24 cars. One-off bookings are for a minimum of 3 hours. Regular bookings are for a minimum of 1.5 hours in the Wade room or 2.0 hours in the Fisher, Mascall or Sewell rooms. The Kitchen was refurbished in late 2025 and is available for all hirers at no extra charge. It has an oven with an induction hob, fridge and microwave. DO NOT place hot saucepans, etc., directly onto the worktop – please use the cork mats. There is an adjoining walk-in pantry.

The Wade Room is a large, bright room for up to 80 people. Approx. size - floor 12.1m x 5.3m plus stage 3.1m x 4.5m. Cost £19.00 per hour.

Padded chairs are stored at the end of this room

The Sewell Room is available for free use if the Wade Room is hired or separately.  Cost £12.00 per hour.

Plastic chairs are stored in the left corner or at the end of this room.

The Mascall Room is for up to 20 people, suitable for meetings and smaller groups. Approx. size 5.7m x 4.9m. Cost £14.00 per hour.

Chairs are available from the Sewell room or Wade room, unless being used by another hirer in the Wade room. No food or drink is permitted in the Mascall room.

The Fisher Room, on the first floor, is for up to 10 people and is ideal for small meetings or office use. Approx. size 4.6m x 3.85m excluding the corner storage area (not shown in photos). Cost £14.00 per hour.

This room has several easy chairs and a table. 

Chairs and collapsible tables are available to all hirers.
