Can we serve alcohol at an event?

Alcohol may only be served in one of two ways at the hall:

Please note this must be done even if you plan to serve your guests alcohol without charging them.

We will need to see sight of the TEN before the event.

2. The village hall can provide a bar service with fully trained and licensed staff to run a bar for you.  Please contact the Village Hall on 07704 298402 or email billingboroughvillagehall @gmail.com for prices, as this varies according to duration.

  • The garden is available to be used but only up to 10 pm.
  • We also request that the windows leading to the garden side be closed by 10 pm out of consideration to our neighbours living close to the Village Hall.
  • Glasses are not permitted to be taken out of the hall and into the garden area at any time.
  • Please note that we do NOT permit the use of BBQs anywhere on the village hall premises, including the garden or any hard standing areas.

  • We also ask that you please adhere to recycling policies.

Can items be attached to the walls?

  • Items can be attached to the walls with care, but we ask that you do not use Sellotape or Blue Tac due to the fragility of the walls, especially on the garden-side wall. We recommend that you utilise Command hooks, where possible, as they have proved to work well and minimise any damage
