About Swindon Village Community Hall

Our Village Community Hall is in a convenient location on Church Road, opposite Swindon Village Primary School.  It is easily accessible from the surrounding villages and is close to the local shops with parking for over 50 cars.

The Village Community Hall is a vital part of village life.  Run by a Committee, it relies on local volunteers to help with the day to day running of the hall and bar.

Our Hall has two rooms available for hire. 

Our two main spaces can be hired separately or together depending on your needs. When hiring either of our rooms you have the option to use our licensed bar. This will be run by Swindon Village Hall volunteers and is subject to an additional cost. Just let us know if you need this at time of booking. 

The hall is run by a charity and therefore there are no staff on hand to host or oversee events. Hirers are essentially responsible for looking after the hall, its facilities, security and the safety of their guests during the hire period.

With a capacity of 160, we can host large events with the benefits of:

• a licenced bar
• a hall (3.45m ceiling height) with a separate stage
• a large kitchen with fridge, gas hob, electric oven and twin sinks
• LED stage lighting
• a large selection of seating and fold down tables.

The hall is licensed  for:

• The hall capacity 120
• The bar capacity 40
