About St Mary the Virgin, Old Town, Eastbourne

We are delighted to have three rooms which are available for hire within the historic setting of The Old Parsonage and Barn behind St Mary the Virgin, Old Town, Eastbourne. 

We have three rooms available for hire: 

The Old Parsonage (OP) offers a large room with beautiful historic features, a kitchen, and a projector screen. This room can be used for private parties, social gatherings, large meetings, lectures or classes. There is an outside garden which can be booked and used if the weather allows. The OP is licensed  for:

• 70 seated at tables
• 35 mixed occupancy tables and dance
• 100
• 100 closely seated audience

The Barn (Downstairs) offers a simple room with access to kitchen facilities. It is a good space for small group meetings, small class gatherings or talks. 

• 20 seated at tables
• 30 seated audience
• Classes for 7-12 people

The Barn (Upstairs) offers a beautiful meeting space for business or committee meetings, craft classes, reading groups or small social gatherings. There is access to water and a small sink in the room or the kitchen facilities downstairs. There is a large meeting table that can seat 16-20 people.
