To make a booking with Strathnairn Community Access & Transport Association (SCATA):

Go to the calendar page. Check availability. Click on New Booking and fill in the form.

To assist us in approving your booking quickly please provide as much detail as possible, this includes

  1. Name of person requiring transport
  2. Main contact mobile number & email address
  3. Number of people on the booking
  4. An "Event Title" (i.e. Hospital appointment / Otago)

In the “Message for the Administrator” section of the booking page please advise;

  • If you require a volunteer driver or is this a self-drive
  • Pick up & drop off location - full address including postcode “what3words” reference is advisable
  • Pick up time & required drop off time (i.e. appointment time / class time)
  • Do you need a return trip
  • If so, Return collection time & location

When booking, please provide as much notice as possible in order for us to be able to source & secure a volunteer driver.
All our drivers are volunteers with no fixed days / schedules so be aware that even if a job is accepted & confirmed it may have to be cancelled if no volunteers are available.  This rarely occurs however we will of course advise you as soon as possible if we are unable to complete your journey.

Please ensure when booking you have given us enough time to allow us  to travel from our “base” at Farr Community Hall to your collection point.  For example a booking from Brin or Daviot will typically require 15 mins to allow our drivers time to collect the vehicle & drive from Farr Hall to your collection point.

If you wish to drive the SCATA WAV vehicle yourself please note that you must be cleared through the volunteer driver process before the booking will be authorised.  This requires the completion of insurance & membership forms, driving licence checks & an on-the-road vehicle orientation / test drive.  The test drive will be subject to vehicle & coordinator availability so please ensure you provide suitable notice to arrange & complete.

If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Thank you.
