Scottish Charity Number SC047939
We’d like to inform you about planned refurbishment works at North Kessock Village Hall.
The first phase of work is scheduled to begin on 12th and 13th December 2024, during which we will install a new front door with a key entry system and replace two fire doors on the water side.
Following this, our toilet and foyer refurbishment, along with drainage work around the entire building, will commence on Monday, 5th January 2025, and is expected to be completed by Friday 28th February 2025.
Due to the extent of these works, the hall will be closed during this period. Unfortunately, limited access to toilet facilities and the temporary unavailability of the accessible ramp and toilets make it impractical to keep the hall open.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and are disappointed to have to close during this period. These essential upgrades are critical to ensuring the hall’s longevity and its continued use as a valuable space for our community.
Thank you for your understanding and support.
Best wishes,
NKVH Booking Team
The North Kessock Village Hall is the heart of our community. Situated in a quiet setting on the banks of the Beauly Firth, it offers an ideal venue for all events and occasions. Private parties, public meetings, child-based activities, keep-fit, yoga, badminton, junior football, dance classes, quiz nights, community markets, mind, body and soul events, wedding receptions, dances, charitable and fundraising events, craft fairs, ceilidhs, sporting events, and corporate events have all hired the hall.
Built in 1971, the hall is a popular venue for all.
The Main Hall seats up to 120 people, or a maximum of 200 standing (this includes helpers and performers and is in line with fire regulations). The main hall has a wheelchair ramp at the main door, but it is unsuitable for all disabled users. Please enquire prior to booking. The hall is fully licensed for public entertainment.
The Committee Room seats 12–15 but has no disabled access.
The kitchen is fully equipped and ideal for catering. (No glasses are provided.)
There is a small private car park with parking for approximately 25 vehicles. Please note that there is NO overnight parking.
A defibrillator is available on the outside wall by the entrance to the hall. No access code is required.
