This Community Centre in North Muskham is a multifunctional venue for the whole community. The MRCC is available for hire to the local community and beyond to the surrounding area by groups and individuals.
The MRCC is suitable for family celebrations, weddings, christenings, parties, any special occasions, community groups, companies, drama groups. Our large playing fields are ideal for outdoor events including caravan rallies.
The venue includes a large hall with stage and a smaller hall and a meeting room with internet access.
Provision has been made for full disability access and disabled facilities.
The centre has been designed to have minimum environmental impact, including rainwater harvesting, air-source heat pump and rooftop solar panels. There is ducted air-conditioning and heating throughout the building.
The centre, which opened in November 2009, is close to Newark (3.5 miles), Southwell (10 miles), Lincoln (17 miles) and Nottingham (25 miles). It is adjacent to the A1 for ease of access and includes good parking facilities for up to 60 cars.
