About Us

Welcome to the booking system for Storth Playing Field and Heron Hall, operated by the Storth Playing Field Charity (Charity Registration No. 503690). Nestled within the picturesque landscape of Storth.

The land is part of Dallam Tower Estate on a long peppercorn lease from 1974, a generous gift from Brig. C E Tryon-Wilson.

Our current hall dates back to the turn of the millennium, with its doors officially opening in 2004 as a testament to our commitment to community enrichment.  

Our main hall and kitchen is available for hire and has the following capacity:

• 80 people seated at tables for a more formal event
• 90 people for informal seating and dancing
• 100 people standing or dancing!

There are fold up chairs and  large trestle tables available for you to use and the kitchen has plenty of plates, cups, glasses, bowls, jugs, cutlery, a kettle and large hot water urn.

High speed B4RN broadband is also available for you to use free of charge, you will find details on how to connect on the noticeboard inside the hall.

The area of the field outside the hall is also available for events such as weddings or birthday parties.  Please note that the field and play areas always open to the community when you are planning your event.  Feel free to contact us on bookings@heronhall.co.uk to discuss your needs in detail.
