   Hire Charges 2024 Update

Due to ongoing increases in energy prices, maintenance, service, and supply costs the Management Committee are making a small increase to the hire costs for the Hall in 2024

Main Hall                              £17 per hour

Meeting Room                  £12 per hour

Full Hall charge                 £25 per hour

Children’s party                £50  (3 hours total - to include set up and clear away) 

Friday / Saturday evening  £160 (5pm to midnight)

Full days/weekend hire by agreement with the Management Committee

All  bookings are provisional,  subject to checking by the Management Committee.  Further information may be required prior to approval

Existing bookings for 2024  for which payment (or required minimum deposit ) has been received before 31st December 2023 will be held at 2023 prices  All new bookings made or paid for from January 2024 will be at the new prices.

About Bramham Village Hall

Bramham is very fortunate to have such a spectacular Village Hall, which is situated in a conservation area right in the heart of the village, next to All Saints Church. 

Bramham Village Hall is considered by many as a focal point of the village with a licence for bar and entertainment. It regularly holds a variety of events such as music nights, dances, meetings and a range of classes, including art and fitness. It is also available for hire for private parties, commercial events and fund raising events.

Our aims are to ensure the Village Hall remains available to the residents of Bramham and local groups at affordable rates. It is a well equipped hall to be very proud of. As the building is over 100 years old, there is a need for ongoing maintenance of the hall.

There are a wide range of clubs and organisations which use the Hall on a regular basis. Many are local, which means that it is convenient for residents of the village to attend a group, club or fitness class or evening event that is within walking distance of their home. 

This all brings income to the hall to help cover the running costs. In addition to the regulars who use the hall, special events are organised to help raise further funds. 

Benefits the hall has to offer are:

Disabled access and hearing loop

Licensed bar can be provided including extensions to the licence

Music licence to 11pm

Fully functional kitchen equipped with an impressive range of cutlery, glassware, crockery and large scale catering equipment to suit most functions

Newly fitted modern toilets including disabled toilet with baby changing facilities

A separate carpeted room for smaller events and meetings (7.6 m by 5.9 m)

Main Hall (14 m by 10.2 m) has an impressive wooden parquet floor suitable for fitness activities and dancing

Stage available for live bands and shows

Some sound and lighting equipment is available for all kinds of events and can be organised when making a booking

 HIRE CHARGES 2024

For one off events 

A minimum of 50% of the hire charge is payable as a deposit when  invoiced.  The balance to be paid at least one week before the event.

To comply with the hall’s entertainment licence all music must be TURNED DOWN at 11pm.

All licensed bars and music must finish at midnight unless an extension has been granted by Leeds City Council via a Temporary Event Notice

Children's Parties 

If you wish to book a party  please try to stay within these guidelines 

Children’s party package         £50.00 for all rooms  

Saturday & Sunday -recommended times -  10:00- 13:00 or 14:00 -17:00 (3 hours total - to include set up and clear away) 

Weekdays during School Holidays  

All subject to availability

Payment to be made on receipt of invoice 

Special events/Weddings/Full weekend hire: 

Price on application from the committee

For all events, other than  children’s parties and after funerals , a returnable bond of £100.00 will be required prior to the event. This will only be returned to the hirer if there are no costs relating to damage of the hall or fitments, or for cleaning up in the village hall and surrounding areas. This payment can be made as a returnable cheque or a refundable BACS payment.
