Village Show 2025Nestled in the heart of Aveton Gifford, the Village Hall, also known as Aveton Gifford Memorial Hall, warmly welcomes all to enjoy its welcoming and versatile space. Conveniently located just off the A379 between Modbury and Kingsbridge, it’s a perfect spot for a variety of events and gatherings.
You’ll find the hall in the car park, opposite the school and near the shop, with easy access, including reserved disabled parking spaces. The spacious main room is ideal for different event setups, with large patio doors opening onto a lovely decking area and garden—perfect for outdoor fun or just relaxing. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, fridge, microwave, crockery, kettles, an urn, and teapots, making catering simple and enjoyable.
For your entertainment needs, audiovisual equipment is available, including a ceiling-mounted projector, a drop-down screen, a CD player, an amplifier, and loudspeakers. There's also a hearing loop system to ensure everyone can enjoy the event. When using the projector, the hall can be darkened for the best viewing experience.
Our hall is a cherished part of the community, regularly hosting activities for the village school, the Parish Council, and many local groups. Whether you’re planning a friendly community gathering, a special celebration, or a professional event, our welcoming and well-equipped venue is here to meet your needs.
