About Amersham Free Church

Location: Amersham Free Church is located at the top of the main shopping street in Amersham on the Hill, at the junction of Woodside Road with Sycamore Road, and our modern & light Hall has large picture windows overlooking both aspects. 

Hiring a room: rooms are available to hire either for a ‘session’ (a morning, an afternoon or an evening) or for a full day, with the option to book use of our fully-fitted kitchen. Hireable rooms are all on the ground floor with main entrances & exits step free. 

Parking (see below about car park controls) is available, though not guaranteed, to those using our premises. We provide Disabled and Ambulant Access toilets in addition to the Male & Female toilet facilities plus Baby Change.  Our large Sanctuary has a baby grand piano & pipe organ available for use by hirers by prior arrangement. The kitchen is fully fitted with appliances. The servery off the entrance foyer is available to users of the premises at no charge, dependent on the number of groups wishing to use at the same time.

We have a wide variety of groups using our facilities and have several rooms available to hire. Please have a look at the room photos and details. Please note we do not take bookings for children’s parties. 

Car park management: car park controls which include the use of Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) cameras are in place. Car parking is available only when attending sessions or events within the premises. Car park users need to input their vehicle registration into a tablet in the premises to obtain a permit to park.
